GEO Readiness Score

Score how ready your site is for AI search engines across eleven questions, with transparent weights.

This tool asks about eleven technical and structural conditions we consider helpful for ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity and Google AI Overviews to read your site. Each question is based on a real check we cover in detail in our blog archive; next to each question is a link to the guide that explains it.

Your answers are kept only in your browser and sent nowhere. Refresh or close the page and the answers reset; that is deliberate — the tool needs no account or session.

The result is an estimate, not a guarantee: no tool or agency can commit to when an AI system will mention a brand. This tool only shows how many of the checkable technical conditions are met.

How is the score calculated?

A "yes" earns the full weight, "not sure" earns half the weight (rounded to the nearest whole number), "no" earns zero. The eleven weights always add up to 100; the total score is the percentage of what you earned out of 100.

The weights were set by hand based on each check's practical impact; this is not a scientific measurement model, it is a transparent checklist weighting. 75 and above reads as "in good shape", 40-74 as "partly ready", below 40 as "foundational gaps".

What this tool does not do

This tool relies only on the answers you give yourself; it does not crawl any of your pages and does not actually test any bot.

  • Answers are not verified: the tool does not test a check you marked "yes" for itself, it trusts you.
  • It does not measure whether AI systems will mention you in an answer; it only asks about the technical barriers in front of that.
  • It does not produce competitor comparison, raw answer text or a prioritized work list — those belong to a GEO audit.

You can read the difference between what a tool like this can measure and what a GEO audit covers in AI Visibility Test vs GEO Audit: What Each One Measures.
